# Update Share Caption

`PUT /forms/share-caption`

## Request

Update just the share caption without posting a whole config blob.

Default target: the form config's metadata.shareCaption. target=
"attendee-card" writes config.speakerShareCaption on the attendee-card-
template PromoConfig instead (the attendee caption's home). Server-side
partial merge, so concurrent writers can't revert each other.

- ShareCaptionUpdateSchema: Partial update: just the share caption inside a form config's metadata. target="attendee-card" writes to the attendee-card-template blob instead (the attendee caption lives there, not in a form config).
