# Create Classifier Binding

`POST /api/v1/classifier_bindings`

## Request

Create attaches a classifier to an enforcement target.

## Request body

- C1ApiAiGovernanceV1CreateClassifierBindingRequest: The CreateClassifierBindingRequest message.
  - `binding` C1ApiAiGovernanceV1ClassifierBinding, required: ClassifierBinding attaches one Classifier to one enforcement target. surface must be AGENT or GATEWAY; UNSPECIFIED and BOTH are invalid here. Attach a shared classifier twice to use the same classifier_id on both surfaces. Each call resolves only its originating surface, never both cascades.
    - `classifierId` string, required: The classifierId field.
    - `createdAt` string, date-time, nullable
    - `deletedAt` string, date-time, nullable
    - `id` string: The id field.
    - `surface` 'CLASSIFIER_TYPE_UNSPECIFIED' | 'CLASSIFIER_TYPE_AGENT' | 'CLASSIFIER_TYPE_GATEWAY' | 'CLASSIFIER_TYPE_BOTH', required: The surface field.
    - `targetId` string: The targetId field.
    - `tenantId` string: The tenantId field.
    - `updatedAt` string, date-time, nullable
