# Delete My Account

`DELETE /api/v1/athletes/me`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.compteam.io` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.compteam.io/api/v1/athletes/me`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer

Right to erasure.

Self-service deletion is blocked while an active membership is still in
force, including open-ended memberships without a recorded end date.
Otherwise the account is erased, or blocked when financial records must be
retained for statutory accounting obligations.
