# Get the organization's active keyring transfer keys

`GET /api/v3.1/keyring/transfer_keys`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://backend.composio.dev`
- URL: `https://backend.composio.dev/api/v3.1/keyring/transfer_keys`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Returns the public encryption keys from the authenticated project API key's organization keyring instance. The organization must have an ACTIVE customer keyring instance.

## Response `200`

Active keyring transfer keys.

- object
  - `success` true, required
  - `active_kid` string, required: The `kid` of the key to seal new secrets to. Older keys stay in `keys` so previously sealed values remain openable, so always seal to this one.
  - `keys` object[], required: Every currently accepted transfer key, newest first. Seal to `active_kid`.
    - `kty` 'RSA', required: Key type. Always `RSA`.
    - `n` string, required: RSA modulus, base64url-encoded.
    - `e` string, required: RSA public exponent, base64url-encoded.
    - `alg` 'RSA-OAEP-256', required: Key-management algorithm for the JWE. Pair it with the `A256GCM` content algorithm.
    - `use` 'enc', required: Key use. Always `enc`.
    - `kid` string, required: Key identifier. Put it in the JWE protected header so keyring can select the unwrapping key.

## Other responses

- `400`: The active keyring instance configuration is invalid.
- `401`: Unauthorized.
- `404`: The API key organization has no ACTIVE keyring instance.
- `422`: The customer keyring instance is unavailable.
- `500`: Internal failure.
- `502`: The keyring instance returned an invalid response.
