# Join the website waitlist without creating an account

`POST /api/v1/website_waitlist_applications`

## Request

- Auth: none required

Public name/email opt-in, independent of signup admission settings. Reuses existing applications by canonical email, preserves approval state, and queues the existing verification and lead delivery workflow. An identical acknowledgement is returned for admitted addresses and spam. CSRF-exempt; rate limited to five requests per IP per minute.

Request acknowledged without revealing account or approval state.

- `400`: A required field was missing.
