# Authorize a warm runner's actual job assignment

`POST /api/v1/github_runner_supply_admission`

## Request

Internal pre-job gate. Requires the active single-use supply credential. GitHub confirms assignment identity before billing admission and execution deadline shortening. User API tokens do not authorize this endpoint.

- `400`: Invalid run ID or attempt
- `401`: Invalid supply credential or assignment identity
- `403`: Assignment denied; no customer step may start
- `404`: Not found
- `422`: Unprocessable entity
- `502`: Bad gateway
- `503`: Assignment or deadline confirmation temporarily unavailable
