# Issue a conversation credential to the trusted scheduler

`POST /api/v1/agent/persistent/scheduler/conversation_credential`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://composal.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Platform-service-only credential broker. Requires the dedicated scheduler transport secret, never the general API signing secret or a user/org credential. Resolves the current controlling principal and verifies canonical published conversation state before issuing a short-lived conversation token. Body contains locators only. No execution authority is returned. No-store response.

Fresh short-lived conversation capability for the exact authorized scope; never cache or put in workflow history.

## Other responses

- `401`: Invalid dedicated scheduler transport credential
- `403`: Current controlling authority is unavailable
- `404`: No matching persisted/canonical conversation
- `409`: Lifecycle or source index requires reconciliation
- `422`: Invalid or oversized JSON request
- `502`: Bad gateway
- `503`: Canonical state is temporarily unavailable; retry without inventing another task/workflow identity
