# Delete a catalog entity

`DELETE /api/rest/v1/catalog/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.componecat.ai`

- Auth: none required

Soft-deletes the entity (it can be restored from the trash) and removes relationships whose
delete policy allows it. Fails with `422` when a relationship's policy forbids the delete.
