# Pause Subscription

`POST /billing/subscription/pause`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.companydata.dk` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.companydata.dk/billing/subscription/pause`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Pause the subscription for 1–3 months (monthly subscribers only).

Pro access is suspended for the pause window and Stripe collects nothing
(pause_collection behavior "void"); Stripe auto-resumes at the end.

## Request body

- PauseSubscriptionRequest: Request to pause the subscription for a fixed number of months.
  - `months` integer, required: Pause length: 1, 2 or 3 months
  - `reason` string, nullable

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- PauseStateResponse: Current pause state after a pause/resume action.
  - `paused` boolean, required
  - `pause_resumes_at` string, date-time, nullable

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
