# Delete Account

`DELETE /auth/me`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.companydata.dk` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.companydata.dk/auth/me`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Permanently delete the current user's account.

This action:
- Cancels any active Stripe subscription (no refund)
- Revokes all API keys
- Releases any claimed company profiles
- Deletes notification subscriptions and webhooks
- Soft-deletes the account (can be recovered by admin within 30 days)

Requires password verification and typing "DELETE" to confirm.

## Request body

- DeleteAccountRequest: Request to delete user account.
  - `password` string, nullable
  - `confirmation` string, required
  - `reason` string, nullable

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- DeleteAccountResponse: Response after account deletion.
  - `success` boolean, required
  - `message` string, required
