# Change Password

`POST /auth/change-password`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.companydata.dk` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.companydata.dk/auth/change-password`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Change the current user's password.

Requires the current password for verification (unless user has no password set).
New password must be at least 8 characters.

## Request body

- ChangePasswordRequest: Request to change password.
  - `current_password` string, nullable
  - `new_password` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- ChangePasswordResponse: Response for password change.
  - `success` boolean, required
  - `message` string, required

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
