# add_to_watchlist

`POST /tools/add_to_watchlist`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://compabase.com/api/mcp`
- URL: `https://compabase.com/api/mcp/tools/add_to_watchlist`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Add a company to the watchlist. Identify by KRS (10-digit) or NIP (10-digit).
Supports both KRS companies and CEIDG sole proprietorships (via NIP).
Respects plan watchlist limit.

**Does not consume quota.**

**Example prompts:** "Add company with KRS 0000028860 to my watchlist."
· "Follow NIP 5250000000."

**Parameters:** `krs` (string, 10 digits) or `nip` (string, 10 digits); at least one required.

## Response `200`

Watchlist add result. `already_following` indicates whether the company was
already on the watchlist before this request (`true` = no-op, `false` = newly added).
