# Revoke user tokens

`POST /users/revoke_tokens`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.commpeak.com/textpeak`
- URL: `https://api.commpeak.com/textpeak/users/revoke_tokens`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Sign users of your account out of the TextPeak platform by revoking their refresh tokens. They must log in again once their current session expires.

**When to use.** Offboarding a user, or responding to a suspected credential leak. Users outside your account are reported as `unauthorized` and are not affected.

**Authentication:** TextPeak API key in the `Authorization` header (see **Authentication** in the API Overview).

## Request body

- RevokeTokensInput
  - `usernames` string[], required: E-mail addresses of the users to sign out. Only users of your own account are affected.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- RevokeTokensResponse
  - `status` string, required: Always `success` when the request was valid.
  - `message` string, required: `Revocation process completed.`, or `Revocation process completed. No tokens were revoked.`
  - `results` RevokeTokenResult[], nullable: Outcome per user. Present only when at least one session was revoked.
    - `username` string, required: The e-mail address from the request.
    - `status` 'revoked' | 'not_found' | 'unauthorized', required: Outcome for this user.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request could not be applied (invalid value or state).
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `403`: The API key is not allowed to use this endpoint.
- `422`: Validation Error
