# Get specific call's record file

`GET /{sub_domain}/api/calls/{id}/record`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.commpeak.com/pbx`
- URL: `https://api.commpeak.com/pbx/{sub_domain}/api/calls/{id}/record`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Download the audio recording for a call as a binary attachment.

**When to use.** Retrieve the recording file for a specific call `id`. The response is the raw audio (`.flac` or `.wav`, depending on how it was stored), served as a file download. Returns `404` if no recording exists for that call.

**Notes.** For API users with phone-masking enabled, the destination number is redacted from the download filename.

## Path parameters

- `id` integer, required: Call ID.
- `sub_domain` string, required: PBX Name (subdomain)
