# Upload or update a user data file

`POST /api/userdata/{file}`

Upload a file to a user's data directory. Optional query parameters allow
control over overwrite behavior and response detail.

## Path parameters

- `file` string, required

## Query parameters

- `overwrite` 'true' | 'false'
- `full_info` 'true' | 'false'

## Response `200`

File uploaded successfully.

- UserDataResponseFull — User data listing entry with file metadata (path, size, modification time).
  - `modified` integer — UNIX timestamp of the last modification in milliseconds.
  - `path` string
  - `size` integer

## Other responses

- `400` — Missing or invalid 'file' parameter.
- `401` — Unauthorized.
- `403` — The requested path is not allowed.
- `409` — File already exists and overwrite is set to false.
- `500` — General error
