# Get billing status

`GET /api/billing/status`

[cloud-only] Returns the authenticated user's current billing and subscription status.

## Response `200`

Billing status

- BillingStatusResponse — [cloud-only] Current billing and subscription status for a workspace.
  - `is_active` boolean, required — Whether the workspace has an active subscription
  - `subscription_status` 'active' | 'ended' | 'canceled' — Subscription activity status (scheduled subscriptions are not returned)
  - `subscription_tier` 'FREE' | 'STANDARD' | 'CREATOR' | 'PRO' | 'FOUNDERS_EDITION' — [cloud-only] Subscription tier (uppercase to match comfy-api)
  - `subscription_duration` 'MONTHLY' | 'ANNUAL' — [cloud-only] Billing period (uppercase to match comfy-api)
  - `plan_slug` string — Plan identifier (e.g., standard-monthly, team-pro-annual)
  - `billing_status` 'awaiting_payment_method' | 'pending_payment' | 'paid' | 'payment_failed' | 'inactive' — [cloud-only] Overall billing/payment lifecycle status.
  - `has_funds` boolean, required — Whether the workspace has available credits
  - `cancel_at` string, date-time — When the subscription will become inactive (if canceled)
  - `renewal_date` string, date-time — When the current billing period ends and the next one begins

- `401` — Unauthorized
- `404` — Workspace not found
- `500` — Internal server error
