# Returns a node version to be installed.

`GET /nodes/{nodeId}/install`

Retrieves the node data for installation, either the latest or a specific version.

## Path parameters

- `nodeId` string, required

## Query parameters

- `version` string

## Response `200`

Node data returned successfully.

- NodeVersion
  - `id` string
  - `version` string — The version identifier, following semantic versioning. Must be unique for the node.
  - `createdAt` string, date-time — The date and time the version was created.
  - `changelog` string — Summary of changes made in this version
  - `dependencies` string[] — A list of pip dependencies required by the node.
  - `downloadUrl` string — [Output Only] URL to download this version of the node
  - `deprecated` boolean — Indicates if this version is deprecated.
  - `status` 'NodeVersionStatusActive' | 'NodeVersionStatusDeleted' | 'NodeVersionStatusBanned' | 'NodeVersionStatusPending' | 'NodeVersionStatusFlagged'
  - `status_reason` string — The reason for the status change.
  - `node_id` string — The unique identifier of the node.

## Other responses

- `400` — Invalid input, such as a bad version format.
- `403` — Forbidden
- `404` — Node not found.
- `500` — Internal server error
