# L4 order book summary

`GET /api/public/v1/market/book/summary/{coin}`

How deep and how lopsided a book is right now: touch prices, spread in bps, and per side the size / order count / distinct wallet count within 0.5, 1, 2, 5 and 10% of mid, plus near- and far-band imbalance, the orders resting at the touch, their median age and post-only share. Snapshot-derived, refreshed every 60s, latest-only. /market/orderbook/{symbol} remains the aggregated L2 view.

## Path parameters

- `coin` string, required — Coin in the node's own spelling, case-sensitive: BTC, xyz:GOLD, #28200. Not normalized. Spot pairs (names containing '/') are not addressable on this path.
