# Public companies holding a coin in treasury

`GET /api/market/treasuries/{coin}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.coinrithm.com`
- URL: `https://api.coinrithm.com/api/market/treasuries/{coin}`
- Auth: none required

Keyless list of public companies holding `bitcoin`, `ethereum`,
`solana` or `binancecoin` (`bnb` is accepted as an alias), largest
holding first, with the coin-wide totals. Data provided by CoinGecko:
keep the `source` attribution next to any display of these values.
The upstream list is read at most every 12 hours and never served
older than 24 hours. `status` is `fresh` within 12 hours, `stale`
up to 24 hours, and `unavailable` (null totals, no companies) when
no usable copy exists; an upstream failure still answers 200.
`tradfiTicker` links a US-listed company to its
`/api/market/references/{ticker}` reference when one exists.
Other coins return 404; any query parameter returns 400.

  - `coin` string, required: Canonical coin id (`bitcoin`, `ethereum`, `solana`, `binancecoin`).
  - `status` 'fresh' | 'stale' | 'unavailable', required: Freshness of an upstream dataset CoinRithm re-reads on a schedule. `stale` data is still served inside its documented maximum age; `unavailable` means no usable copy, never zero or empty truth.
  - `totalHoldings` number, nullable, required
  - `totalValueUsd` number, nullable, required
  - `companies` PublicCryptoTreasuryCompany[], required: Largest holding first; former holders with zero balance are excluded.
    - `name` string, required
    - `symbol` string, nullable, required: Upstream listing symbol such as `MSTR.US` or `3350.T`; null when unlisted upstream.
    - `country` string, nullable, required: ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code, or null.
    - `holdings` number, required: Coins held.
    - `valueUsd` number, required: Current value of the holding in USD.
    - `pctOfSupply` number, required: Percent of the coin's total supply.
    - `tradfiTicker` string, nullable, required: CoinRithm TradFi reference ticker for US listings in the catalog, else null.
  - `asOf` string, date-time, nullable, required: When CoinRithm read the upstream list.
  - `source` PublicCoinGeckoAttribution, required: Keep this attribution next to any display of the data.
    - `name` string, required
    - `url` string, uri, required
    - `attribution` string, required
  - `meta` PublicFreshUntilMeta, required
    - `freshUntil` string, date-time, required: Instant until which shared caches may reuse this response.

## Other responses

- `400`: Query parameters are not accepted
- `404`: Treasury data is not available for this coin
- `429`: Public request rate limit exceeded; honor `Retry-After`.
