# Curated sector and ecosystem ids with live coin counts

`GET /api/agent/universe/sectors`

## Request

The curated sector picker for /api/agent/universe: every sector and
chain ecosystem id with its label and the number of distinct coins
currently in it (active, not market-cap-suspect, live price at most
72 h old). Each id maps to an explicit list of CoinRithm category
names; ecosystem ids carry an `eco-` prefix. Takes no parameters.
Shared 60 s cache. Requires scope `read`.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing/malformed or invalid/revoked API key
- `403`: API key missing the required scope
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded for this API key (120 req/min baseline, 20 trade-writes/min). Honor `Retry-After`, then resume; the `RateLimit-*` headers on every response let you pace proactively. (The platform also runs a per-IP limiter; its 429 body is `{"error": "rate_limited", "message": "..."}`.)
- `500`: Server error
