# FREE — instant API key, 25 live calls/day

`POST /api/key`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://coil.trade`
- URL: `https://coil.trade/api/key`
- Auth: none required

POST {"email": "you@example.com"} and receive a key immediately: ~25 live calls/day (enforced approximately) on regime, indices, movers, crypto gate, crypto night, tradfi-risk and hold state, sent as the X-Coil-Key header. Email is stored only as a salted hash. Keys expire after 90 days of inactivity; re-request with the same email.
