# Metrics Overview

`GET /api/v1/metrics/overview`

One round-trip view powering the Metrics tab.

Returns categories, each with a flat list of its metrics. Every metric
carries recent measurements for the requested ``range`` (newest first,
downsampled for 1y), a total count (not capped), and the global latest
value/time. Derived metrics are evaluated over the window (daily grain) so
their cards render like any other; their ``count`` is days-with-data in the
window and ``latest`` is the last evaluated day.
