# Run a simulation template directly

`POST /v1/templates/{template_id}/run`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.algenta.ai`
- URL: `https://api.algenta.ai/v1/templates/{template_id}/run`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Run a simulation template by ID without constructing the full payload. Optionally override `runs` and `seed`. Returns simulation results immediately.

Use `GET /v1/simulate/templates` to list all available templates.

## Path parameters

- `template_id` string, required

## Query parameters

- `runs` integer
- `seed` integer, nullable
- `engine` string
