# Resolve a Hugging Face artifact through the Algenta artifact bridge

`POST /v1/artifacts/resolve`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.algenta.ai`
- URL: `https://api.algenta.ai/v1/artifacts/resolve`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Resolves a Hugging Face artifact path through the compatibility-ring artifact bridge. The default behavior is cache-only and never downloads from the network unless the caller explicitly sets local_files_only=false.

## Request body

- ArtifactBridgeResolveRequest
  - `repo_id` string, required: Hugging Face repository identifier.
  - `filename` string, required: Artifact filename to resolve from the selected repository.
  - `revision` string, nullable: Optional repository revision, tag, or commit hash.
  - `local_files_only` boolean: When true, fail closed to cache-only resolution and never download from the network.
