# Get chat advisor config

`GET /api/v2/chats/config/advisor`

## Request

- Base URL: `/` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/api/v2/chats/config/advisor`
- Auth: API key in header `Coder-Session-Token`

## Response `200`

OK

- CodersdkAdvisorConfig
  - `enabled` boolean: Enabled is always true and cannot be changed.
  - `max_output_tokens` integer: MaxOutputTokens caps the advisor model response tokens. 0 means use the runtime default.
  - `max_uses_per_run` integer: MaxUsesPerRun caps how many times the advisor can be invoked per chat turn. 0 means unlimited.
