# Edit chat queued message

`PATCH /api/v2/chats/{chat}/queue/{queuedMessage}`

## Request body

  - `content` CodersdkChatInputPart[]: Content replaces the queued content. An empty array is rejected.
    - `content` string: The code content from the diff that was commented on.
    - `end_line` integer
    - `file_id` string, uuid
    - `file_name` string: The following fields are only set when Type is ChatInputPartTypeFileReference.
    - `skill_name` string
    - `skill_source` 'personal' | 'org' | 'project' | 'workspace'
    - `start_line` integer
    - `text` string
    - `type` 'text' | 'file' | 'file-reference' | 'workspace-file-reference' | 'skill-invocation'
    - `workspace_file_media_type` string
    - `workspace_file_name` string
    - `workspace_file_path` string: The following fields are only set when Type is ChatInputPartTypeWorkspaceFileReference.
    - `workspace_file_size` integer
    - `workspace_file_workspace_id` string, uuid: WorkspaceFileWorkspaceID is the workspace the file was uploaded to, as returned by the upload endpoint. It must match the chat's currently bound workspace.
  - `editing` boolean: Editing begins (true) or ends (false) an edit of the message. A chat has at most one message under edit; beginning another ends the first. While the chat is paused, beginning an edit on another message returns 409. Ending the edit of a paused chat's head sends it.
  - `model_config_id` string, uuid: ModelConfigID and ReasoningEffort require Content; sending either without it returns 400. Omitted values keep the stored ones.
  - `reasoning_effort` string
