# Update organization skill preferences for a member

`PATCH /api/experimental/organizations/{organization}/members/{user}/skill-preferences`

- CodersdkUpdateOrganizationSkillPreferencesRequest
  - `all_skills_disabled` boolean
  - `skills` object: Skills maps an organization skill ID to whether the skill is enabled for the member's chats.

## Response `200`

OK

- CodersdkOrganizationSkillPreferences
  - `all_skills_disabled` boolean: AllSkillsDisabled turns off every organization skill, including skills added later. DisabledSkillIDs is kept and applies again when it is false.
  - `disabled_skill_ids` string[]: DisabledSkillIDs lists the organization skills the member turned off.
  - `members_can_disable_skills` boolean: MembersCanDisableSkills is the organization's setting.
