# Search Papers

`GET /cache/papers/search`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.codeofpaper.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Search cached papers with flexible filters and pagination.

Supports filtering by date range, category, presence of embeddings/repos/summaries,
and specific models. Returns paginated results with total count.
Deduplicates by canonical paper ID unless ?show_duplicates=true.

## Query parameters

- `query` string, nullable: Search in paper titles
- `year` integer, nullable: Filter by year
- `category` string, nullable: Filter by category (e.g., cs.LG)
- `date_from` string, nullable: Filter from date (YYYY-MM-DD)
- `date_to` string, nullable: Filter to date (YYYY-MM-DD)
- `has_embeddings` boolean, nullable: Filter by embedding presence
- `has_repos` boolean, nullable: Filter by repository presence
- `has_summaries` boolean, nullable: Filter by summary presence
- `embedding_model` string, nullable: Filter by embedding model
- `summary_model` string, nullable: Filter by summary model
- `page` integer: Page number
- `page_size` integer: Items per page
- `sort_by` string: Sort field
- `sort_order` string: Sort order
- `show_duplicates` boolean: Show all duplicate IDs (default: dedup by canonical ID)
