# Start Odoo instance

`POST /instances/{id}/start`

## Request

Starts a previously stopped Odoo instance. This endpoint allows you to bring your instance back online after it has been stopped. This is useful for resuming operations on instances that were temporarily shut down to save resources.

**Key Parameters:**
- `id`: The unique identifier of the instance you want to start

**NOTE:** Starting an instance will make it immediately accessible to users. The system will automatically initialize all required services including the Odoo server, database, and web services. It may take a few moments for the instance to become fully operational depending on its size and complexity.

## Response `200`

Instance start initiated successfully
