# Check instance logs availability

`HEAD /instances/{id}/logs`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cloudpepper.io`
- URL: `https://api.cloudpepper.io/instances/{id}/logs`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Checks the availability and metadata of the log file without retrieving its content. This is useful to determine the size of the log file or check if logs are available before downloading them. The response will include the same headers as the GET method but without the response body.

## Response `200`

Log file exists and is accessible

## Other responses

- `403`: Access denied or logs capability not enabled
- `404`: Instance not found or log file not available
