# Delete Odoo instance

`DELETE /instances/{id}`

## Request

Permanently deletes the specified Odoo instance. This operation cannot be undone and will remove all data associated with the instance, including databases, file storage, and configuration. This endpoint is useful when instances are no longer needed or when cleaning up testing environments.

**Key Parameters:**
- `id`: The unique identifier of the instance you want to delete

**NOTE:** This is a permanent operation and cannot be undone. Always create a backup before deleting an instance if you might need the data in the future. The deletion process runs asynchronously and may take several minutes to complete for large instances.
