# Delete a bulk import

`DELETE /collections/{collection_id}/imports/{import_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.cloudglue.dev/v1`
- URL: `https://api.cloudglue.dev/v1/collections/{collection_id}/imports/{import_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Delete an import definition and its run history. Any active run is cancelled first. Imported files and collection memberships are never deleted by this operation.

- `import_id` string, uuid, required

## Response `200`

The import was deleted

  - `id` string, uuid
  - `deleted` true

## Other responses

- `404`: Collection or import not found
- `500`: An unexpected error occurred on the server
