# Email a fiscal document

`POST /fiscal-document/v1/fiscal-documents/{id}/email`

Initiates the process to send the invoice to a customer

## Request body

- FiscalDocumentEmailRequest
  - `emails` string[], required
  - `fileIds` string[]: Ids of additional stored files to attach (from files on the list response), e.g. the Portuguese duplicate. The primary file is always attached; these are added on top. Absent or empty attaches only the primary file. Duplicate ids are ignored.
  - `subject` string, nullable: Optional per-send override for the email subject. When omitted or blank, the subject is resolved from the property's email template, falling back to the service default. Supports the same [Placeholder] tokens as template subjects.
