# Get property accounting settings

`GET /accounting/v1.0/settings`

Retrieve the accounting settings for a property. Use this endpoint to check the current configuration, such as the deposit consumption policy. Settings control how certain accounting behaviors work across the property.

- `X-Property-ID` integer, required

  - `settings` SettingValues
    - `depositConsumption` 'MANUAL' | 'CHECK_IN' | 'CHECK_OUT': Controls when deposit transactions are automatically transferred to the guest ledger. MANUAL means deposits are only transferred when explicitly requested. CHECK_IN means deposits are automatically transferred when the guest checks in. CHECK_OUT means deposits are automatically transferred when the guest checks out.
