# Transfer a reservation balance to an AR ledger

`POST /accounting/v1.0/accounts-receivable-ledgers/{accountsReceivableLedgerId}/reservation/{reservationId}/balance-transfer`

Transfer the outstanding balance of a reservation to an accounts receivable (AR) ledger. This creates a transfer transaction that moves the balance from the reservation to the specified AR ledger for later collection. This operation is processed asynchronously; the response includes an event ID you can use to track the result.
