# Enable and/or disable plugins (batch)

`PUT /plugins/batch`

Enables and/or disables a batch of RabbitMQ plugins. Returns a `job_id` to track progress using the Jobs API.

## Request body

- object
  - `enable` string[] — Plugin names to enable
  - `disable` string[] — Plugin names to disable

## Response `202`

Batch plugin update started

- JobIdResponse
  - `job_id` string, uuid — Job ID to track the asynchronous operation

## Other responses

- `409` — A plugin batch operation is already in progress
