# List valid metric names

`GET /integrations/metrics/valid_metrics`

Retrieve all valid metric names that can be used in the `metrics_filter` of a metrics integration.

Histograms and summaries are listed by their family name, for example `rabbitmq_message_size_bytes`. Selecting the family name exports the `_bucket`, `_sum` and `_count` series together.
