# Current user and quota

`GET /api/me`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://cliponit.app`
- URL: `https://cliponit.app/api/me`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in cookie `session`
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://cliponit.app/oauth/authorize`, token URL `https://cliponit.app/oauth/token`, scopes: `clips`)

Call this first to know the plan and remaining quota (`quota.videos_used` vs `quota.videos_limit`) and which features are unlocked (`api_mcp`, `translate`, `broll_music`, `premiere_xml`…).

    - `retention_days` integer, nullable, required: Videos older than this are deleted
    - `searches_today` integer, required
    - `searches_limit` integer, nullable: Daily `findMoment` quota (free: 5), null = unlimited
    - `watermark` boolean, required: true = exports carry the ClipOnIt watermark
    - `logo` boolean, required: Custom logo on exports
    - `premiere_xml` boolean, required
    - `edit_captions` boolean, required: Subtitle text overrides
    - `translate` boolean, required: Subtitles in another language
