# Mark a Bill as sent

`POST /bills/{id}/mark_as_sent.json`

Records that a bill was sent to the client, either via LEDES eBilling, postal mail, manual email, or another method.
Marking a bill as sent again after it has already been sent adds another sent event rather than replacing the previous one.
