# Start an affiliate onboarding application (public, AI-driven)

`POST /api/v1/onboarding/affiliate/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://partners.clickwise.net` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://partners.clickwise.net/api/v1/onboarding/affiliate/`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in cookie `sessionid`
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer
  - none

Minimum: `email` (or `username`) + how you promote (`website` or social handle + category). The AI evaluates instantly and interviews via /respond/ if it needs more. Fiscal/payout data is NOT needed here — it is requested at first payout.

  - `message` string: Free-text: how will you promote?
  - `lang` string
  - `phone` string
  - `wa_service_opt_in` boolean
  - `wa_marketing_opt_in` boolean
  - `application_id` integer: Application id returned by an earlier retryable response.
  - `access_secret` string: Per-application secret returned by an earlier response.
  - `on_behalf_of` object: Full-read/API operators only: email, company and site for the third-party applicant.
