# Create a house

`POST /users/{userId}/houses`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://connect.clever.gy`
- URL: `https://connect.clever.gy/users/{userId}/houses`
- Auth: API key in header `clevergy-api-key`

Create a new house for the user

## Path parameters

- `userId` string, required

## Request body

- CreateHouse: Create house request
  - `address` string: House address (should not exceed 124 characters)
  - `postalCode` string: House postal code
  - `cups` string: Deprecated. When filled, CUPS of the supply to connect. This field will be removed in a future version.

## Response `200`

Created house

- HouseCreated: Create house response
  - `id` string: House id
  - `address` string: House address
  - `postalCode` string: House postal code

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `default`: Unexpected error
