# Delete an user

`DELETE /users/{userId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://connect.clever.gy`
- URL: `https://connect.clever.gy/users/{userId}`
- Auth: API key in header `clevergy-api-key`

Deletes the user's account and all its related information (meters, energy
data...).

**Please note that this action is irreversible.**

When the response is a 202, the process is not immediate and usually takes
several minutes until the user is permanently deleted.

## Path parameters

- `userId` string, required

## Response `202`

Record successfully deleted.

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Not found
- `default`: Unexpected error
