# Count notes

`GET /notes/count`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.cleve.ai/api/v1`
- URL: `https://app.cleve.ai/api/v1/notes/count`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns how many notes the workspace holds, and how many are pinned.

## Query parameters

- `folderId` string

## Response `200`

The counts.

- object
  - `data` NoteCount, required
    - `total` integer, required
    - `pinned` integer, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `500`: Unexpected server error. Safe to retry once.
