# Delete a note

`DELETE /notes/{noteId}`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Permanently deletes a note. This cannot be undone.

## Path parameters

- `noteId` string, required

## Response `200`

The note was deleted.

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key.
- `500`: Unexpected server error. Safe to retry once.
