# Switch subscription

`POST /customers/{customerId}/subscription_switches/{offerId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://mediastoreapi-sandbox.cleeng.com`
- URL: `https://mediastoreapi-sandbox.cleeng.com/customers/{customerId}/subscription_switches/{offerId}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

This endpoint is used to upgrade or downgrade a subscription to another subscription plan.

**Note:** In-app subscription upgrades are NOT supported through this endpoint.

## Path parameters

- `customerId` string, required
- `offerId` string, required

## Request body

- object
  - `toOfferId` string, required: ID of the subscription offer to which a customer wants to upgrade
  - `switchDirection` string, required: Supported: `upgrade`, `downgrade`, `unspecified`
