# Add Adyen payment details \[Legacy\]

`POST /connectors/adyen/payment_details`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://mediastoreapi-sandbox.cleeng.com`
- URL: `https://mediastoreapi-sandbox.cleeng.com/connectors/adyen/payment_details`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Use this method to add Adyen payment details, so that new payment details can be used for recurring payments.

Example use cases:  a customer updates a card or wants to switch payment method to a card. For more information, see the [docs](https://developers.cleeng.com/docs/payment-information#customer-payment-details).

## Request body

  - `paymentMethodId` integer, required: Publisher Adyen payment method ID
  - `card` object, required: Card object containing Adyen tokens. It is returned from Adyen component. [Here](https://developers.cleeng.com/docs/adyen-payment-setup#set-up-adyen-component) is an instruction how to render this component
    - `encryptedCardNumber` string, required
    - `encryptedExpiryMonth` string, required
    - `encryptedExpiryYear` string, required
    - `encryptedSecurityCode` string, required
    - `type` string, required
    - `holderName` string, required
  - `customerIP` string: The IP address of the end-user signing up for your service. Please note this IP address is also used to prevent fraud. (Make sure you send the end-user IP, and not those of any possible middleware)
