# Recent Transactions Sample

`GET /api/v1/transactions`

**Public API: Returns a sample of recent on-chain DEX transactions.**

Every row is a real transaction: hashes, block timestamps, projects, token
pairs, and volumes come from Dune trace data; gas costs and success status
come from Alchemy transaction receipts. The sample covers the four supported
chains and is refreshed on each data sync.

## Query parameters

- `limit` integer: The maximum number of recent transactions to return.
- `offset` integer: Pagination offset.
- `chain` string: Blockchain to query (ethereum, base, arbitrum, optimism)
- `dex_project` string, nullable: Filter by DEX project name.
- `aggregator` string, nullable: Filter by aggregator name.
- `token_sold` string, nullable: Filter by token sold symbol.
- `token_bought` string, nullable: Filter by token bought symbol.
- `start_timestamp` integer, nullable: Filter by start timestamp (Unix).
- `end_timestamp` integer, nullable: Filter by end timestamp (Unix).
- `succeeded` boolean, nullable: Filter by transaction success status.

A sample of recent on-chain DEX transactions with real gas costs from transaction receipts.

    - `tx_hash` string, required: The on-chain transaction hash.
    - `timestamp` integer, required: The Unix timestamp of the block containing the transaction.
    - `chain` string, required: The blockchain the transaction executed on.
    - `dex_project` string, required: The DEX project whose pools the trade executed against.
    - `aggregator` string, nullable: The aggregator that routed the trade, if any (null for direct trades).
    - `token_sold` string, nullable: Symbol of the token sold (largest leg).
    - `token_bought` string, nullable: Symbol of the token bought (largest leg).
    - `routing_legs` integer, required: Number of DEX pool legs executed within the transaction.
    - `volume_usd` number, required: Total trade volume across all legs in USD.
    - `gas_used` integer, nullable: Gas units consumed (from the Alchemy transaction receipt).
    - `gas_fee_eth` number, nullable: Total gas fee paid in ETH (gas_used x effective gas price).
    - `gas_fee_usd` number, nullable: Total gas fee in USD at current ETH price.
    - `succeeded` boolean, nullable: Whether the transaction succeeded on-chain (from the receipt status).
  - `total` integer, required: Total number of matching transactions.
  - `limit` integer, required: The maximum number of transactions returned.
  - `offset` integer, required: The offset used for pagination.
