# Get Instrument Cash Flow Statements

`GET /v1/instruments/{instrument_id}/cash-flow-statements`

## Request

Get cash flow statements for an instrument.

Retrieves historical cash flow statements for the specified instrument.
Cash flow statements show cash inflows and outflows from operating, investing,
and financing activities.

Pagination metadata does not include `total_items` or `total_pages` for this
endpoint. Use `next_page_token` to detect whether more results exist.

## Path parameters

- `instrument_id` string, required: Instrument identifier: either an instrument UUID or a symbol (symbol for equities, OSI for options). Non-UUID inputs are resolved server-side.

- `from_date` string

Cash flow statements retrieved successfully

    - `total_pages` integer, nullable: Total number of pages available.

    - `accepted_date` string, date-time, required: The date and time when the filing was accepted by the SEC
    - `accounts_payables` string, nullable: Change in accounts payables
    - `accounts_receivables` string, nullable: Change in accounts receivables
    - `acquisitions_net` string, nullable: Net acquisitions
    - `capital_expenditure` string, nullable: Capital expenditure
    - `cash_at_beginning_of_period` string, nullable: Cash and cash equivalents at beginning of period
    - `cash_at_end_of_period` string, nullable: Cash and cash equivalents at end of period
    - `change_in_working_capital` string, nullable: Change in working capital
    - `common_dividends_paid` string, nullable: Common dividends paid
    - `common_stock_issuance` string, nullable: Common stock issuance
    - `common_stock_repurchased` string, nullable: Common stock repurchased (buybacks)
    - `deferred_income_tax` string, nullable: Deferred income tax expense
    - `depreciation_and_amortization` string, nullable: Depreciation and amortization expense
    - `effect_of_forex_changes_on_cash` string, nullable: Effect of foreign exchange changes on cash
    - `filing_date` string, date, required: The date the financial statement was filed
    - `free_cash_flow` string, nullable: Free cash flow (operating cash flow minus capital expenditure)

    - `period_type` 'QUARTERLY' | 'ANNUAL' | 'TTM' | 'BIANNUAL', required: Fiscal period type for earnings reports
    - `preferred_dividends_paid` string, nullable: Preferred dividends paid
    - `purchases_of_investments` string, nullable: Purchases of investments
    - `reported_currency` string, required: The currency in which the statement is reported (ISO 4217)
    - `sales_maturities_of_investments` string, nullable: Sales and maturities of investments
    - `short_term_net_debt_issuance` string, nullable: Short-term net debt issuance
    - `stock_based_compensation` string, nullable: Stock-based compensation expense
    - `year` integer, required: The fiscal year of the statement
