# Privacy delete people from Audiences

`POST /audiences/privacy-delete`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.clay.com/public/v0`

Queues deletion of people from Audiences to support privacy-related requests.

## Request body

- AudiencesPrivacyDeletePeopleRequest: Identifies people to delete within the workspace associated with your API key.
  - `dry_run` boolean: Preview the number of matching people without queueing deletion. Defaults to false.
  - `person_identifiers` union[], required: Provide 1–100 email, LinkedIn slug, or phone identifiers. People matching any identifier are selected.
    - union

        - `type` 'email', required
        - `value` string, email, required
      - LinkedInSlugIdentifier
        - `type` 'linkedin', required
        - `value` string, required: LinkedIn profile slug (vanityName) after /in/, such as alice-smith. Do not include the URL.
      - PhoneNumberIdentifier
        - `type` 'phone', required
        - `value` string, required

## Response `200`

Returns HTTP 200 for a dry-run preview or when no people match.

    - `matched_count` integer, required: The number of unique matching people, including archived people. No deletion was queued.

    - `status` 'no_matches', required
