# Delete Company

`DELETE /workspaces/{workspace_id}/companies/{company_id}`

Delete a company. Caller must be a workspace member.

The Postgres FK from ``claims.company_id`` is ``ON DELETE RESTRICT``, so
deleting a company still referenced by any claim raises ``IntegrityError``.
Translate that into a 409 with a helpful message rather than a raw 500.
